With the latest Changes you can only call Droids that are max 5 CL above your own!
R = Ranged Attack, M = Melee Attack, Repair Number stands for maximal possible amount of Repair Modules (Droid area self heal)
Melee Attack Droids have a higher DPS then Range Attack Droids while dealing the same max damage per attack!
The values on the -> Build to order <- Droids depend on the configuration ordered.
The Armour Effectiveness rating as currently a higher importance then Auto Repair Modules.
Droida's Tip: The best choice for one who just left the space station and is between CL 15 and 25 is the W-DES DZ-70 Combat S6 A2 CL20 Droid. Once you are CL25 but still below CL 55 the best option, if you are looking for a Droid that is using melee style combat, is the W-DES R3 Combat Auto Repair D6 A6 CL30 Droid, especially if you also have starship that needs an R-Unit type Astro Droid and you are already a Master Pilot. If you prefer Range Combat Droids and especially if you are a Smuggler or a Bounty Hunter you will also like the W-DES Probot Viper Combat Detonation A6 CL30
One on one a CL 30 combat Droid can take out a CL 30 NPC on its own. Traders can use them to simply clear lairs. Just group with the Droid and send it out to attack any Rebel, Pirate or Critter one after the other and watch from a distance.
Once you are abouve CL 55 you might want a real Combat Droid at your side. Here you can either choose the most powerful Droid, the W-DES Droidika A6 CL60 or if you want a humanoid Combat Droid go for a W-DES Battle Droid A6 CL60.
What does a Detonation Module do?
This Module allows you to self destruct your Droid with a command. The detonation power and the damage of a detonation against targets (number is given as base damages, that is modified by the armour rating of the target)is listed on the Droid. This can be a powerful and suprising strike, but is only available to Bounty Hunters and Smugglers. However, after the self destruct the Droid is gone for good.

- Armour Modules Level 1-6 (A6 is max)
- Auto Repair Module (increases Droid Healthbar regeneration)
- Detonation Module (usable by Smugglers and Bounty Hunters)
