![]() Using this wizard you can connect 2 Regions via hyperbuoys. The option to include Entry point buoys means 4 buoys will be added:
. |
![]() This is where you can edit mission settings such as Mission Type, Time limit and Region Names. |
| MIssion Type/ Hangar | This
list shows the different values that are used by different mission types
in XWA, however trying to play mission types other than Rebel or Family
in a Campaign or through the simulator may cause problems, and may crash
the game.
Even
Family hangar
missions were only intended for the first 7 missions and, as far as I know,
can't be used for missions numbered higher than 6.
|
| Time Limit | In
minutes. If the value here is set to zero, there is no time limit.
. |
| Tactical Officer | Choose the voice of the
Tactical Officer for the mission, i.e. the voice which will give messages
such as "Message from mission critical craft - they're under attack."
You can choose from Devers,
Kupalo,
Zaletta
and Emkay.
|
| Region Names | Here
you can name the 4 regions.
. |
| IFF Names | Here
you can name IFFs 3 to 6.
. |
| Mothership Insignia | These
determine which insignia will appear before the briefing during a campaign.
I'm not sure of the difference between these 2 settings, but they are usually
just set to the same value.
.. |
| End Mission... | This
flag determines whether or not a mission will end as soon as the Primary
goals are completed.
. |
| Global unit Strings? | These
may be strings to name Global Units for reference while mission writing,
although some of the existing missions don't really follow that pattern.
At the moment they are not used by AlliED.
. |
| Special Cargo Strings? | These
seem to be strings relating to special cargo but the way they are used,
and the values associated with them, is currently unknown.
. |
| Unknowns | The
use of the rest of the unlabelled boxes are currently unknown.
